ADC owns or leases more than 6 million sf of office, research
and development, manufacturing and warehouse space in
over 34 countries. As part of a global real estate plan,
ADC Telecommunications built a new world headquarters
and subsequently wished to dispose of their former headquarters
facility.
CresaPartners managed to sell the facility in a soft
real estate market, maximizing the value of the asset
while minimizing out-of-pocket costs. Due to the size
and layout of the facility, CresaPartners marketed
the 207,000 sf property to single-tenant users and investors.
CresaPartners then secured a leasing prospect for over
half of the building, using the signed letter of intent
to solicit offers from investors. They received ten
offers on the property, then negotiated the best financial
deal on behalf of ADC.
