Client Objectives

The City of Oregon City purchased a building in 2008 in order to consolidate its administrative functions and meet the City's growth needs. The building had been mostly gutted by the previous owner and was intended to be a multi-tenant building. The City desired to perform interior and exterior improvements that were environmentally responsible.

Result

CresaPartners worked closely with the City to develop a budget and schedule that met its needs and objectives. Then CresaPartners managed the public process required to put in place such contracts as architectural and engineering services, furniture, moving services, audio/visual specialties, and building commissioning. The project is currently anticipating LEED Silver certification of the tenant improvements with CresaPartners leading the certification process. CresaPartners also prepared and presented agenda materials for review and approval at City Commission meetings throughout the process. Proactive project management and representation allowed the City's staff to maintain the majority of their focus on day-to-day and normal business activities. In addition, detailed relocation planning methods allowed for a seamless transition into their new space. The project was delivered on time and under budget.
